Frequently Asked Questions
“Should I make an appointment, or can I just drop in if I’m passing by?”
“I have had a bad experience in previous bridal shops I have been in. How can you help me relax?”
We’re sorry you have had a bad experience beforehand; no bride-to-be should ever be made to feel like anything less than a princess. We have refreshments – including prosecco – on hand to help you feel relaxed, as well as the knowledge that you have the entire bridal boutique to yourself. We aim to make all of our brides feel as comfortable as possible.
“What if I don’t like anything?”
Every shop is different. We all have different styles and price ranges, so it goes without saying that some things may not suit your taste. You can take a look at our Bridal Lookbook by visiting 'The Bridal Collection' page on this site to get a sense of what we offer here at Nero e Bianco, and if you like what you see enough to make an appointment, that’s great. If, when you visit us, you don’t like anything you try on, then please don’t be afraid to let our Bridal Co-Ordinator know; she may be able to advise you of a new stock delivery that will have your dream dress arriving into our store soon…
“What shall I wear to the appointment?”
If you already have your bridal underwear, we suggest you bring that along to the appointment. Nude or white briefs are recommended, however don’t worry too much about a bra, as you will most likely be taking it on and off throughout the appointment. If you are anxious about getting undressed in front of a member of staff, just let us know and we will happily step outside of the dressing room, and pop back in to fasten the dress.
“I want to lose weight before my wedding day. When is the best time to try on dresses?”
This will depend on the amount of weight you wish to lose. If you’re planning on dropping more than two dress sizes, we suggest that you wait until you are closer to your goal before visiting us, as dresses can look completely different on varying body shapes. Please bear in mind that once your dress is ordered, it can take anything up to six months to arrive in store and there may still be alterations needed to be made, so we suggest you don’t leave it until the last minute.
“I’ve found my dress! What next?”
"Do you offer any payment plans?"
Unfortunately, we only accept payment in full on day of purchase.
"What prices do your dress range from and to?"
Our dresses are extremely exclusive. They are hand selected hence why we have few available of each individual style.
